Features and coverage of our lifetime guarantee:
The lifetime guarantee is applied for the life of the patient to whom our prosthesis has been implanted. The coverage of the warranty for life not only refers to a possible and strange manufacturing defect, but to circumstances beyond the characteristics and qualities of the prosthesis and own organic pathological effects or implantation techniques that occur in the patient and to the patient, at the time of the surgical act and subsequently to it.
We can describe as pathological organic effects that covers the guarantee of our prosthesis, the capsule, the seroma or the rupture of the prosthesis, although this last one is not for its quality, nor for a pathological organic problem, but rather for the rupture of the same moment of being implanted.
Our Iselane prostheses have a lifetime guarantee, both for manufacturing defects, and for the situations described above, FOR LIFE.
Xtralane prostheses have exactly the same coverage as Iselane prostheses, ONLY when they are implanted in a patient whose age does not exceed 25 years.
When an Xtralane prosthesis is implanted in an elderly patient in one day at the age of 25 years, from then on the prosthesis will only have a guarantee, in case a very strange manufacturing defect is determined, which will require a very meticulous, once the prosthesis is referred to its origin and in no case the determination of the causality of the manufacturing defect, may be established in a period less than 45 calendar days.
Why, or the reason why Iselane has a lifetime guarantee on all patients, regardless of age, is because the prosthesis, although it is a round base, its design, when placed, regardless of the technique used for its location, it acquires and gives an anatomical conformation to the mammary gland, increasing it and projecting it in a natural and aesthetically almost perfect way, without creating internal tensions and mobilizations that produce rejection or drastic alterations of the muscle or the mammary gland. Statistically, for every 2 thousand pairs of Iselane implanted prostheses, both smooth and microtextured, we only recorded incidents of 2 pairs every 2 thousand implanted.
In the case of Xtralane, due to its high projection, its decrease in the diameter of the same with respect to the Iselane design and the concentration of its weight in a support point lower than that of the other type of prosthesis, makes the Xtralane prosthesis more aggressive and produce alterations in contact with the muscle or with the mammary gland, which produce organic alterations and create pathological situations such as the capsule or the seroma. Statistically Xtralane type prostheses, although their materials, the elastomer and the silicone gel is identical to Iselane, its configuration and design by the projection they give, produce incidences for every 2 thousand pairs of prostheses, of 25 pairs.
The statistics obtained for more than 15 years, in thousands of pairs of implanted prostheses, reflect these results. In short, Xtralane for the characteristics of patients under 25 years, have a lifetime guarantee for any adversity that occurs, as in Iselane prostheses.
Xtralane prostheses, implanted in patients older than 25 years, only have a lifetime guarantee for manufacturing defects.
Appropriate and UNIQUE procedure of the processing of the guarantee by the patient and the doctor or the clinic.
1.- The Physician must order his secretary, or whom he deems convenient within his clinic, so that from an email of the clinic, send to the email of firstname.lastname@example.org
the following data:
a.-Name and last name of your patient.
b.-Age of the patient and date of birth.
c.-Patient identification number or national identification number.
d.- Exact address of the patient, city, state and country.
e.-Date of surgery.
f.-Type of Implant.
g.-Right implant number, left implant number, manufacturing lot number and volume of the implants placed in the right and left breast.
2.- The Doctor or the Clinic must deliver to the patient, in their corresponding bag of Iselane or Xtralane, the two boxes of the prostheses that were implanted with their respective catalogs.
3.- The Physician or whoever orders it, must warn the patient that in order to obtain his Documented Guarantee for life, he must send an e-mail with the same information from his own mail, where his name or even his surname appears. If they were requested from the doctor.
4.-When the mail of the Physician or the Clinic and the mail of the patient are received in the Customer Care Department of AEC Cosmetics, once the information is contrasted with the two emails (this is essential, the two emails), automatically, The Physician will receive in his mail the guarantee certificate corresponding to the patient and the patient will immediately receive his guarantee document for life.
THIS LIFETIME INSURANCE POLICY FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF AEC MAMMARY PROTESIS IS VALID ONLY IF THE CONDITIONS HERE DESCRIBED HERE ARE PROVIDED.
IN ANY EVENT, PROTESIS THAT ARE IMPLANTED BY PHYSICIANS OUTSIDE THE SPECIALTY OF PLASTIC SURGERY, THAT IS, THAT ARE NOT PLASTIC SURGEONS, CAN ACCESS THE GUARANTEE, EVEN IF THEY ARE OUR PROTESIS.
Formula to produce and claim a lifetime warranty incidence:
1.-The patient should be directed in case of symptoms and pain to the Plastic Surgeon who operated it, exclusively, to no other.
2.- The Surgeon will establish the procedures that he deems appropriate, such as reports of radiologist technicians, sonograms or any other that he considers, to establish clinically the appropriate diagnosis.
3.- The Plastic Surgeon, should send his report to Customercare@aeccosmetics.com, indicating his diagnosis and his criteria to correct the possible pathology of the patient.
4.-Once the report is received with the diagnosis of the Physician, if AEC deems it appropriate, it may request other medical reports or other radiological reports to whom it deems pertinent to consolidate this diagnosis.
5.-Immediately established the diagnosis, the delivery of the prosthesis or the prosthesis will be made to the Doctor, to proceed to the replacement or reimplantation of the same ones.
6.- In case the incidence occurs with prosthesis extra high profile, proceed to reimplantar prosthesis of high profile of the next size to the one that was previously implanted. That is, if previously they were implanted with extra high profile 380cc prostheses, they should be replaced by high profile 410 cc prostheses. With which, we will surely reduce the reasons that affected the appearance of a negative effect after the implants.
THIS PROTOCOL FORMAT REPLACES ANYONE ELSE.
